I have many characters (26) and they don't all have the same animations.
I want to be able to check and see if the animation exists and if it doesn't, substitute something else.
I wrote it like this...
if (skeletonData:findAnimation("jump") == true) then
local jumpAnim = "jump"
else
local jumpAnim = "idle"
end
but this returns an error of:
...ts/Development/Alphabet/spine-lua/AnimationState.lua:177: animationName cannot be nil
Is there a better or proper way to do this? Thanks,
