Hi,
Really enjoying using Spine but I'm running into the occasional problem as I've been using a custom runtime I made in Haxe, and have been left behind by the new JSON format in 1.6.03. I installed the latest version to disable the auto-updating, this appears to have purged all the old version from my PC. Updating my files and runtime to the latest version is not a massive problem, but I'd like to freeze the version for the duration of this project, and be able to come back to this project in future perhaps on another PC which does not have the correct historical build of Spine on it.
Is it possible to download old versions of the Spine editor?
If not will backing up the files from "AppData/Roaming/Spine/updates" (win7) be usable to restore the same or different PC in future?
And are the spine versions cross platform, can I restore a previous version of Spine from a backup taken from Windows on Linux?
Thanks,
Nick H

Downloading old versions is unfortunately not possible, sorry.
Backing up the updates folder will indeed allow you to choose the old version to run on the same or different PC. The update files are NOT cross platform, you would need to back them up for each OS: Windows, Mac, Linux.
Windows: <user home folder>\Spine\updates
Mac: <user home folder>/Library/Application Support/Spine/updates
Linux: <user home folder>/.spine/updates
