What's the best workflow for a skeleton rig like that? I made a 3/4 rig that already has bones and meshes. Currently I'm importing front view image files... I'm now realizing that this is harder than I thought... I saw this post - http://ar.esotericsoftware.com/forum/DISTURBING-THE-VERSE-zero-gravity-fighter-7774 and thought that it might be possible. But I really need other people's help because I'm getting lost with how I should do this.
So here's what I was planning on doing:
The rigging has 3/4 view and front views only. After including the front view in the finished 3/4 rig, I'll be using skins to change costumes.
I'm thinking that it's ok if the rig of the front view's body parts is not in place... so I could swap attachments in the slots while animating. Part of me though is thinking that this is wrong, because what if I need the whole front view? It'll look like a mess.
So plan B is to create more bones for the front view body parts that do not align with the current 3/4 bones, and just toggle visibility of the slots or attachments depending on what I need. It will make the rig messier but I think it will be easier to animate than moving around bones to accommodate whichever view and anatomy I need to animate.
I am also thinking late into the workload that I should have made the skeleton more neutral and not geared more to what view I started. I started with the 3/4 view so most of the bones were built according to the 3/4 body. I also should have assembled the rendered character's body parts to be the same pose so rigging it to 3/4 or front would not be too much of a problem. My head hurts from what I should do and from my carelessness... I just started using Spine a month ago and I'm still learning. The forums and the tutorials have been such huge buckets of help during my learning process, which I am very thankful for. Now though, I tried searching through the forums but I haven't found anything yet for my problem... Please help...
