PhotoshopToSpine error after 6 hours of loading
I have 36 skins for my character. I ran the script and it took 6 hours (It didn't finish), and then I got this error:
HTTPS desteği olmadığı için görsel kaldırıldı. | Yine de Göster
I am kind of frustrated at this point. I don't even know what to do and the script taking beyond hours is killer. I spent a lot of money on both the character and Spine.
Sorry for the trouble!
If possible, please send the PSD file to contact@esotericsoftware.com so we can take a closer look at what could be causing it to fail.
Should you be unable to share the PSD file with us, then please share some screenshots of the way your layers are set up, and details of what kind of layers you're using.
Also please make sure that you are running the latest script, which can be found here: spine-scripts/photoshop at master · EsotericSoftware/spine-scripts
Sorry for the panic!
I got it to work. There were some empty folders in some of the [Skin] folders that were causing the error. There were also some layers not named correctly.
Anyway, the image layers are quite big. Would that be the reason why things are loading so slow? I recently told my artist to reduce the image resolution by 40% to make the load time faster for this script. Any thoughts on this? I would love for this to run faster to be honest.
Well, you could absolutely reduce the image size on export to make it faster, either before, or on running the script. (you can set the percentage of scale you want the images to be at in the script window) Having many layers and also a very high resolution could slow down significantly the export.
Ahh, I see. Unfortunately, I skimmed through that option and wasn't aware of it.. that would have been really nice to know yesterday. xD
Thank you, Erikari!
Now I am experiencing the export to json, the atlas and the PNG aren't being created for whatever reason. I only get the json file on export. I suppose I should open another topic for that.
