Hi, just started learning Spine and love it so far, so cool interface and very interesting Unity Runtime/API! 🙂
I have a character with IK’s for each arm, and I can move an IK target to make him point in any direction. I can also attach a gun from inside Unity, which works very well.
However I will have two handed weapons, for example a broom stick, or a shotgun and I want to make it work together with IK targets for each arm.
Is it possible to set this up, so there are two positions/transforms on the weapon and then the IK’s would be locked on to those targets and basically restricting the movement of the animation.
I’m thinking that there maybe will be a third IK target in between, which controls the other two, and the weapon in Unity is rotated between the two points.
I can restrict the weapons to always have the same distance between the two contact points if it helps.
Maybe Unity doesn’t have anything to do with this setup but that’s where I’ll be using it.
I understand if my question is a little bit fuzzy, but I’m looking forward to hear your thoughts on this! 🙂
Thanks!
