View size issue
I was adjusting the interface size and took it from 100 to 50, 50 was too small so I took it to 75 and it did this. I'm not able to access the settings now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it's still huge, any advice?
Just going to leave this here in the case another noob does this. I hit F12 which is the hotkey to open up options and thankfully the reset to default button was in the view.
That looks a lot higher than 75! We allow values up to 400 (the slider goes to 200, but you can drag right past that, or type a value), though admittedly higher than 200 is probably not useful (but you never know). Maybe there's an issue when going low then high, we'll check it out.
If needed, you can reset your settings by deleting the prefs.json
file in your Spine user folder, here:
Spine Troubleshooting: User files
Did you end up settling on 75? Anything that isn't 100 or 200 won't look as crisp. In v4 the 200 interface scale looks amazing, as we've redone all the graphics in high resolution. Might be worth updating to a high density monitor!
I was doing seeing just how far I could "fine tune" bones, just trying to understand my limitations and all that. I was trying to scale down the UI some to give me more visibility to the full character while zoomed in but all those UI elements stacked under the character just seem a bit big. I didn't mess with the slider, I just typed in 50 and the font in the UI was super smushed and illegible. Figured 75 would be the next to try and boom! Reset to default and staying at 100, not trying to deal with that again LOL I'll just learn to deal, I'm easy like that.
FWIW, you can try adjusting the bone scale setting, or setting the toolbar to be on the left or right.
Yeah that will probably help also, thanks Nate!
