when we duplicate a skin there is an option
Rename attachments
That option says in tooltip that uses skin and skin placeholder names but as far as I know and tested it only uses skin name?
Any help here ?

I expected that after duplicate attachment clears the path and name goes [skin+placeholder]
Yes, you are describing the previous behavior, as you can see in the issue, the behavior changed. We forgot to update the tooltip! Thank you for the note.
