PSD adjustment layers
It'd be really cool if the PSD to Spine script worked with PSD adjustment layers.
I have a PSD with about 20 layers all affected by four adjustment layers at the top. To break them out properly for Spine I have to duplicate the 4 layers 20 times - one set for each PSD layer - which I then flatten before running the PSD to Spine script.
It's be nice if the script knew to ignore the adjustment layers and went ahead and applied them.
Does that make sense?
It does! Have you tried the latest script? It's a lot faster too (still not fast, but that's Photoshop for you).
I d/l the new script and......yyiiiIIIIKKKES! I get this when I run it in PSD...
You downloaded an HTML page, not the script. Follow instructions here:
https://github.com/EsotericSoftware/spine-scripts/tree/master/photoshop#download
Nope. Downloaded it from Github. .jsx file. Loaded it into PSD scripts folder as before the other three version before, etc. =[
Just curious, would an HTML file even show up in the PSD scripts menu?

It will throw this particular error if you right-click, and click "Save As" on the download URL on our Github page. Be sure to only left-click the URL to download the PhotoshopToSpine script, and remove any prior versions of the PhotoshopToSpine script in the Photoshop Scripts folder prior to installing this new version.
I was able to recreate the necessary steps for installing our script just a moment ago with the latest version available; could you try following the steps line-by-line from our Github and let us know if that helps resolve your issue?
"Be sure to only left-click the URL to download the PhotoshopToSpine script,"
Yup, did that. I'm wondering if I'm getting this error because I'm not running the latest version of PSD. Could that be the problem?
In any event, I deleted the new script and have been using a previous version this AM. Everything worked fine.

I tried it on a version of Photoshop that wasn't up-to-date (it was a couple of weeks old), and then updated and tried it again and got no errors either way.
I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to get the latest version up and running, but am glad to hear you were able to get a previous version working.
Could you try updating Photoshop and seeing if that assist with your issue?
Gnaws definitely saved the jsx file in a webpage format.
Hoo Lee CRAP!!
I am so sorry @Luke, @Nate, and @SilverStraw. I did in fact RMB to download. =[ I saw "PhotoshopToSpine.jsx" and thought "Thank you, Fellas!". RMB. I'm very sorry to have taken your time and consideration.
That being said; I ran the new script and it still ignored my PSD adjustment layers.
But I'll shut up and let myself out now. =\
No worries, you aren't the first one.
Here's a PSD with an adjustment layer:
http://n4te.com/x/3719-adj-test.psd
Running the latest script gives me: HTTPS desteği olmadığı için görsel kaldırıldı. | Yine de Göster
That is correct, the image looks like it does in Photoshop with the adjustment layer applied (the brightness/contrast adjustment layer makes the green more washed out). Without the adjustment layer would look like this: HTTPS desteği olmadığı için görsel kaldırıldı. | Yine de Göster
If you can provide a simple PSD like this that doesn't give you the results you expected, then we can take a look.
Thank You, I will.
Dang!
I even used multiple Adjustment Layers just to put it thru the grind. Of course it worked flawlessly. =\
Thank you again.
