  • 1.7.03 colour-keys cannot be copied with groupselection

Hi there

It seems as if it isn't possible to copy colour-keyframes when you select all keyframes in the timeline and (try to) paste them at another position. There are just pasted the keys of all the other attributes.

Same problem goes for group selection. If I select more colour-keys by dragging a box it just copies the one on the top line (as far as I can tell). All the others are ignored.

This can be quiet annoying when you have modified a lot of slots and therefor have to copy paste each single key.

thanks ;-)

Seems like some variation of this bug is back in 1.7.07.

I go into the timeline, select all keyframes by selecting the white-key at the top, and if I try to copy-n-paste to another point in the timeline, only one of the set of keyframes is pasted. It does not paste all, as would have happened before.

Or it is caused by new features in the editor? If try to copy and paste a single set of key-frames on a single bone, I get 2 x Translate and 2 x Rotate lines in the timeline editor and not the result I would expect. The first of the two Translate keyframes seems to win.

There should never be two of the same rows in the dopesheet! I'd like to get this fixed ASAP, as it could corrupt your project files.

I tried to reproduce, but found it to work correctly. 🙁 Can you provide reproduction steps using one of the example projects? Eg, open goblins, select what keys, copy, paste where, expected result vs actual result.

One confusion may be pasting to a different bone. If you select keys from a single bone, it will paste to whatever bone is selected. If you have some other bone selected, box select some keys from a single bone, then paste, you may not notice that the keys were pasted to a different bone! Two rows showing up in the dopehsheet is just plain broken though, so hopefully we can find some clues how that happens.

I think i know how to reproduce this. first choose a SLOT from the tree, not the bone. Go to the dopesheet and copy some frames, then paste it somewhere else and you get that double translate, rotate and scale thing

Aha, got it thanks! Fixed!
