Nate Gore! There is some popping that looks a little strange. You seem to use scale a lot but not much rotation. I like the level background!
Diesel Basically we are at the beginning, and now we are focusing on the blood effect(really important element, since the game will be raw butchering) and the gameplay details(we are working on a couple of ideas which will make the battle gameplay addictive 🙂. We ll keep you posted guys. THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...
Nate Note you can use a repeat of 0 for your GIF to repeat forever. Your animation still has some popping in it, which feels jarring. He only lifts his shoulders every other step. His arms don't swing at all. You might check out The Animator's Survival Kit: http://www.amazon.com/The-Animators-Sur ... 0571202284
Diesel Sorry Nate dont know the term stepped curves(has to do with interpolation?). I am an infant in animation. 2 months old.
Søren Setting keys at every frame if you use image switching is not always enough due to interpolation. Scrubbing the timeline while holding down shift will scrub smoothly and often reveal those problems, better to use stepped keys 🙂
KashMashLashFlash just a suggestion, but could it be that your first and last keyframe is not the same? when making a loop you wanna make sure the first and last keyframe is the same to avoid any popping
Diesel Graphics Animations refined...second draft (no mesh used till runtime is out). Comments guys. Thanks...
Cuellarjmcg I think the art is better like that, clearer and less complex. But, theres still some popin when the animation loops. Copy the first keys of your animation and paste them at the end, adjust the time and it will loop smoothly.
