Playing with the tool. Good stuff.

What would be nice if the community had a way to upload the bone animations into a public repository that you house, with the ability to purchase and download from the client. You could charge 1 or 2 dollars for a skeletal animation that others could use maybe split the profits 70/30 or something. If they wanted to make it public domain then so be it. This would allow people to share the animations they might take hours developing, get a little cash back, and greatly and quickly build up a collection of animation archetypes ... quickly forming running, walking, jumping, fighting, etc. The community contributions would further reinforce the community. Win idea and a revenue stream. Strength through community, people would be crazy not to use the tool, as there wouldn't be a animation that you did not host. Art to bind to the bones would be next ...

+1 this

this is a good idea, but I think the art is probably more important here.

It's a great idea, I'm not sure how we could manage it though. To start off with maybe we can have a forum section to share these animations. Will think about it some more and see what we can come up with.
With that said, there are more examples coming and while you can not use the images for commercial games, you are welcome to use the animations themselves as you see fit.
