As for the example you mentioned, adding a method for batch processing mesh traces is on our roadmap: EsotericSoftware/spine-editor852
We believe that general improvements such as batch mesh processing should be implemented directly in the editor, rather than relying on users to create their own scripts. Once we have completed these broader improvements, we may be able to consider adding scripting and plugin systems to address more specialized requests from individual users.
